Express Entry

Express Entry is the application process for skilled workers who want to settle in Canada permanently. It is the fastest and most popular pathway for newcomers looking to start a new life in Canada, whether from overseas or within the country. Interested candidates need to submit an online application by creating an Express Entry (EE) profile and providing information about their work experience, skills, language ability, education, and other details. After submitting the profile, candidates receive a score using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which considers various factors such as work experience, education, language ability, and additional criteria like having a sibling in Canada or a valid job offer in Canada. The highest-ranking candidates from the Express Entry pool are regularly invited to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence. Express Entry manages applications for permanent residence under various federal economic immigration programs.

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

  • Express Entry streams of the Provincial Nominee Programs
